Handwriting Without Tears

I used this program for quite a while when Kris was first learning to write. Visit Handwriting Without Tears for more information on this program.  It didn't work for us but it does work well for so many others. Below you will find some documents that were helpful to me while we were using it.
A donation of $5 is suggested for use of these documents.

Trisha has created the following schedule for use with the HWT PK program. This was not available when I was using HWT. Thank you Trisha for so graciously sharing this with all of us!

Word Worm

My son needed a boast in confidence with his reading skills. So I created a word worm. Every time he learned to read a new word, I added a body piece to our worm. As his worm grew -- so did his ability to read.

If you look at the picture carefully you will see a bunch of colored circles starting about kid height ant the doorway and winding down to the floor back up and again and then along the wall.... that's the word worm. It actually went up as high as the map black and white map (that the SL mark-it map by the way) and then under the colored maps finishing somewhere along the other wall in this room. And its not a small room either! Another words -- make this worm as big or as little as you need it to be!
